it feels like an artificial memory, an idealization or dream.
what if i had stayed?
i made the four track demo of happened on easter day 2025. it was my first easter in the netherlands and one of the best days of that year. in the morning i went with my closest friends to the serbian orthodox church in rotterdam — “parochie heilige drie-eenheid” — after which we went to the park, a serbian restaurant and then home. i guess it was the first time i felt grounded in the netherlands, however this came from enjoying the culture of my home for the entire day. it was an odd feeling.
napravio sam demo od četiri trake za happened na Uskrs 2025. bio je to moj prvi Uskrs u holandiji i jedan od najboljih dana te godine. ujutru sam sa najbližim prijateljima otišao u srpsku pravoslavnu crkvu u roterdamu — parohiju svete trojice — posle čega smo otišli u park, srpski restoran, pa kući. mislim da sam se tada prvi put osećao kao da pripadam negde u holandiji, ali taj osećaj je došao nakon što sam ceo dan proveo uživajući u kulturi svog doma. bio je to neobičan osećaj.

the piece was performed live at the end of my first year at the royal conservatoire in the hague.
delo je izvedeno uživo na kraju moje prve godine na kraljevskom konzervatorijumu u hagu.
at the moment i was particularly into steve reich’s sextet, close to you by the carpenters and i guess there’s some inspiration in c418’s music for minecraft…
u to vreme sam posebno slušao sextet stiva rajha, close to you od the carpenters, a pretpostavljam da ima i malo inspiracije iz muzike c418 za minecraft…
