“The Simorgh is, in fact, a mythological bird from a Persian legend, in which a group of birds set out to escape the chaos and fly into the unknown, encountering a thousand dangers in their search for a master who can show them the way. In the end, only thirty survivors remain — for Simorgh means Thirty Birds. They then form a circle known as the ‘Conference of Birds,’ and facing each other, they become aware, as if in a mirror, that they are the Simorgh, that they have become, through their initiatory journey, their own masters.”

i was given three words: ethereal, sexy & epic — i tried my best. the track is heavily inspired by cocteau twins, kanye and birds from a tree across my window…

liepa sinickaite was so kind as to make it even more ethereal with her vocals, which were mostly first takes. she even performed at the fashion show.

„Simorg je, zapravo, mitološka ptica iz persijske legende u kojoj grupa ptica odlučuje da pobegne od haosa i odleti u nepoznato, suočavajući se sa hiljadu opasnosti u potrazi za učiteljem koji će im pokazati put. Na kraju ostaje samo trideset preživelih — jer Simorg znači Trideset ptica. One zatim formiraju krug poznat kao ‘Konferencija ptica’ i, gledajući jedna drugu, shvataju, kao u ogledalu, da su one Simorg, da su kroz svoje putovanje postale sopstveni učitelji.“

dobio sam tri reči: eterično, seksi i epski — dao sam sve od sebe. pesma je u velikoj meri inspirisana grupom cocteau twins, kanyeom i pticama sa drveta preko puta mog prozora…

liepa sinickaite je bila toliko divna da svojim vokalima učini pesmu još eteričnijom. većina njenih vokala snimljena je iz prvog pokušaja. čak je i nastupila na modnoj reviji.
